Andreas Evertz is a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in customer-focused transformations and the development of sustainable strategies. He drives global resilience, sustainability and financial strength and is a pioneer in mechanical drive and industrial solutions. After studying mechanical engineering at the Helmut Schmidt University of the German Armed Forces in Hamburg, he served as an officer in the German Armed Forces from 1988 to 1997. He then began his career at the Flender Group, where he worked until 2007, including as managing director of Flender Tübingen GmbH.
He then took on the role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and later Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Walter AG. In the following years, he was a member of the Executive Board at Sandvik and most recently CEO of the Schenck Process Group. In 2020, Andreas Evertz took over the position of CEO of the Flender Group.
